Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. She is known worldwide as Lady Gaga. Her birthplace was in Manhattan New York United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network business. She grew up in the prestigious Upper East Side of Manhattan within a Catholic family. In order to avoid being a victim of the system, her parents were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious and religious school. She loved music since she was an infant. She learned how to play the piano, and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first tune. She was a participant at open mics. Her most favored artists were David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. When she finished high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she studied music. However, she didn't complete her studies and she resigned from them to start her musical career.
